We have a special spot in our heart for Nancy: we’re right next door to the over-the-top and exquisite B. Braithwaite: the baby store she collaborates on with her daughter, Chaffee. It’s a blast to see her creativity spark to life in the windows and we’re all constantly oohing and aaaahing the latest display.
Nancy was way before her time with her simple, pure and spare interiors and her pursuit for perfect proportion. And, although she makes it all look so easy, she says in her book: “There is nothing simple about simplicity. Simplicity is complexity.”
We can’t praise and applaud Nancy enough for embracing and enhancing our favorite mantra: less is more – especially when anchored by a jaw-dropping and textural objet. She’s the queen of minimalism and rules over form and function with her quiet and elegant grace – and that mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Grab this book and make your coffee table very happy.
(and have you met B.Braithwaite and our other lovely neighbors? We share a nice little spot in Buckhead with Lucy’s Market, Drybar, Flywheel and Detox. Come by and say hi to all of us at 102 West Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta 30305.)
