It’s fair to say that we love every part of our job.
But if there’s one thing that gets the heart racing a little faster than anything else, it’s our buying trips to France! There’s something about wandering the stalls of our various markets, eyes peeled for that diamond in the rough that will shine in our store or in our clients’ homes. There’s the surge of adrenaline that accompanies the unexpected find. There’s the festive food and the wine that goes hand in hand with the buying, whether it’s a baguette on the run or a candlelit dinner in a fancy Parisian restaurant. And of course there’s the camaraderie among our groups that is fueled by common interests and nourished on every trip.
But here’s the unexpected icing on the cake for us: Learning that one of our darling clients has relaunched her Interior Design business and has filled her house with some of the treasures that she spotted on the trip. What a great eye she has!
Darden’s beautiful home was featured on the Ansley Park Tour of Homes this year. To see more images of her transformation, visit her facebook page right here.
We asked Darden to define her new business, which was relaunched in Atlanta after our Paris buying trip. Here’s what she said:
“Inspired by the blending of innovation and timeless elegance, I like to seamlessly mix classic and modern to create a versatile style. Though a traditionalist at heart, I approach each project with an adventurous flair, whether working in a high-rise apartment, new construction, vacation getaway, or older home. With the character of the space as my guide, I always brings comfort, livability, and beautiful design into perfect harmony.”
Like many interior designers, Darden is a problem solver. It’s her mission to always answer her clients’ unique needs with creativity and professional candor. She listens to her clients and delivers stunning spaces that reflect their passions and personalities and truly fit their lifestyles – spaces they’re excited to call home.
We’re so excited and proud that Darden joined us on our first buying trip with clients this year. Oh and guess what … We’ve got another one lined up for Paris in March, 2015!
Will you come pound the Parisian pavement with us and join us for a week of heart racing fun? Who knows, maybe this will be the catalyst to launch or relaunch your interior design business too!
